Let’s face it, men may use way less products than women do, but it’s still just as hard for them to find natural replacements for all of their favorite products. I get a lot of messages from people that want to help their boyfriend or husband make the switch and want some suggestions on where to get started. The good news is that there are so many great options for men out there now! My husband is always pretty game to try new products and has found several favorites, but he’s definitely had his fair share of flops along the way. It can be tough to sort through what’s worth trying and what may not work, so I’ve rounded up some of his favorite picks to get you headed in the right direction.

Honest Shave Oil

Honest Co. Shave Oil

First, I know the Honest Co. has had some mixed reviews as of late, but I promise this oil contains all healthy, skin-loving ingredients that help protect skin and fight irritation and is not one of the products in question (nothing questionable in here at all). This oil helps your razor to glide across your skin without any irritation. The shave oil is for men or women, but no matter where you use it, it helps you to get a really close shave and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. This is a must for guys who get irritation after they shave.

badger hair pomade

Badger Hair Balm

Finding good hair products doesn’t just stop with the girls. My husband had a hard time finding something to replace the pomade he used to use on his hair. This balm helps smooth hair down and keeps it in place for the day. The balm holds up just as well as any of the old pomades he used to use. It also has a nice, manly scent. I love that I can even use it on my son.

osmia spot treatment

Osmia Spot Treatment

The first time I tried this it was almost stolen immediately. I’m huge fan of this spot treatment myself, but after weeks of finding it tucked in my hubby’s bathroom drawer, I realized I wasn’t the only one! I gave in and gave him his own. Osmia’s Spot Treatment heals pimples fast and gently, without drying them out. It’s a roller ball applicator and you’re best bet is to apply it a few times throughout the day. My hubby and I both love the scent!

Meow Meow Tweet Soap

Meow Meow Tweet Bar Soaps

We love a lot of Meow Meow Tweet’s products in our house, but their bar soaps happen to be a favorite of my husband especially. They have some great, uni-sex scents and their packaging is some of the best! I love the hand drawn illustrations on their wrappers. They even make a shampoo bar!

Neitra Deodorant

Neitra Body Botanicals Deodorant

I’ve forced a lot of natural deodorants on my hubby Ummm.. I mean, My husband has willing made the switch to natural deodorants and I’ve given him plenty of options to choose from. Some he’s hated, others he’s used but not loved. When I had him try Neitra’s deodorant, he declared it a favorite right away! He often has to wear dress shirts to work, so he’s pretty put off by deodorants that leave a greasy stain behind or that do nothing to help with smell and moisture control.  This deodorant works on both those fronts and doesn’t leave any stains behind.

PainStick

Kosmatology WOD Aid Pain stick

My husband works out way more than I do (hate to admit that!) and always comes home sore. I always tease him that he’s pushing himself way too hard for someone in their mid-thirties haha! He was using some really intensely strong smelling pain stick from the drug store, until I introduced him to Kosmatology’s WOD Aid pain stick. This is just as easy to apply as the drug store sticks, but has none of the yucky ingredients or smells. It has White Willow Bark which is a natural aspirin compound, along with rosemary and eucalyptus which help with inflammation and increase circulation. This has made it into his top drawer and gets frequent use!

Acure-Shampoo-Volumizing-z

Acure Volume Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell Shampoo and Conditioner

This shampoo and conditioner set is affordable and easy to find at a lot of retailers- Whole Foods and Target just to name a couple! This set really cleans your hair and my husband loves that it lathers well and really moisturizes, plus the scent is uplifting and refreshing.

Acure Brightening Scrub

Acure Brightening Scrub

Obviously we are big fans of Acure in our home :). This scrub is a favorite of both my husband and I and we always keep it in our shower. It offers a nice exfoliation for guys to help with ingrown hairs from shaving. Plus, this is just a great all around scrub to help keep your skin smooth and soft.

These are all staples on my husband’s side of the bathroom, but we’re always looking for more favorites for him! Anyone have any all natural men’s favorites to suggest? Hope everyone has a happy Father’s Day weekend next weekend! xo
