Vapour Organic Beauty is a line that’s been a staple in my makeup bag for quite some time. Vapour’s whole line is beautiful and created to perform well, but it’s also so much more than just makeup. They believe makeup can also be skincare, so they pack their formulas with pure, active ingredients that nourish your skin while you wear it. Personally, I love the line because of the gorgeous, luminous finish their products have and for the pure ingredients. With the weather changing, I’m getting the urge to switch up some of my go-to colors, so it was perfect timing when I was offered to try some of their colors for fall. True to form, Vapour did not disappoint. The colors are gorgeous and I’ve been wearing them on repeat! Here are some of my new favorites.
Elixir Lip Plumping Gloss in Tickle
Vapour Elixir Gloss has such a great texture. It goes on easy with a brush applicator and manages to be moisturizing without any stickiness at all. They have just enough pigment to give some color to your lips while giving them a little shine. A blend of natural oils and plant extracts work to condition your lips while you wear it. I feel like some natural glosses fade pretty quick, but Elixir sticks around for a long time. If I’m not eating or drinking, it stays for hours. If I do happen to eat, it’s still there, but does wear off a little. Still, that’s really impressive for a natural gloss! My other glosses from Vapour are darker, so I was excited to try Tickle to add a lighter pink to my collection for fall. Tickle is a sweet, slightly iridescent, cool-toned pink. It gives lips just subtle hint of pink and iridescence. I like to pair it with a minimal makeup look or it’s also great for when I go for darker eye makeup. It’s a really great neutral that most people could wear.
Siren Lipstick in Ornate
Another lip product I’m really impressed with is Vapour Organic Beauty’s Siren Lipstick. It’s so richly moisturizing and goes on so smooth. Ornate shows as a dark plum color in the tube, but I was surprised by how buildable the color is. You can wear it as just a light wash of color, or just a couple of swipes will leave a deeper, more pigmented color. The most impressive thing about Siren Lipstick is how long lasting it is. Even when it feels like it’s worn off, a quick check in the mirror shows it’s still there most times. after hours it will fade to almost look like a lip stain. Siren comes in some gorgeous colors. Ornate is exclusive to Target, and it adds to their extensive color range that they also offer on their website.
Multi Use in Eros
I’ve been using Vapour Organic Beauty’s Multi Use products for a long time. They’re a staple in a busy mama’s makeup bag for sure! I usually swipe some on as blush or lip color, and if I’m really pressed for time, I use it for both blush and lip color. Depending on the shade, you can also dab some onto your eyelids as shadow, which makes this a complete multi use product. The wide stick is creamy, very pigmented and glides onto skin and is easy to blend in. My go to color has been Crush, but for fall, I’m really digging a deeper shade of pink so Eros with its deep mauve tone is perfect. It gives a great natural pink color to my cheeks and is also a great neutral on my lips.
