I’m always on the hunt for all star make-up products that make you look like a million bucks with minimal effort! After seeing Julie of LetsTalkAboutGreen.com talk about how much she loved Vapour Organic Beauty’s Stratus Instant Skin Perfector, I was definitely very interested. Day to day, I mostly use tinted moisturizer and concealer in place of foundation, but I still wanted that extra evening out of things like pores, fine lines, little spots. This sounded like exactly what I needed, so I decided to give it a shot and of course, got some blush as well.
I’ve been very happy with everything I’ve tried from Vapour and love the type of finish their products typically give. Vapour’s Stratus was no exception. It gives a slightly iridescent finish which helps to deflect light and give the appearance of smoother skin. I purchased the pink version (904) and I think it blends in really well with my skin tone. They are all pretty light and sheer, so it would be hard to go wrong no matter what you choose. The texture is thicker and creamy and does a good job at smoothing out pores and lines. I will warn you that if you have any dry patches this seems to accentuate that. So I’d either avoid that area or be sure to stay on top of exfoliating. Vapour refers to it as a BB cream since you can use it as a primer and a moisturizer as well. I personally haven’t used it as a moisturizer, but it does perform well as a primer for the rest of your make up. A few times I layered foundation and powder on top and I was pleased with the final outcome and how well it held my make-up in place. This has become something I reach for everyday, no matter how much make up I’m wearing! It gives an extra polish to your skin for a “no make-up” look and helps hold everything in place for a fully done up look.

I also picked up Vapour’s Aura Multi-Use Blush in Crush. I’ve actually tried their blush in another color previously and once again I was pleased with the finish. I was excited to try in it the lighter, brighter color and it definitely gives my cheeks a nice pop of pink. This product also has a slightly iridescent finish which just looks nice along your cheeks. It really gives you a healthy glow a long with the color. The blush has a nice blend-able texture as well. Sometimes I swipe it on my lips as well (especially when I’m in a hurry), and it gives the sweetest, sheer pink color.
