The December edition of The Clean Beauty Box is here and the theme this month is Beauty Sleep. I could definitely use more of that, especially in December, so I was excited to dive in! The brand is one you may recognize from past boxes: AMLY Botanicals.

This British-based line is truly lovely. They even have their own organic wildflower meadow in East Sussex that they source the mineral rich water in their mists from! They’re also known for incorporating hard working ingredients like silver citrate. All of the products that I’ve tried from them have such unique and soothing scents, this month’s selection included. By combining the best natural, science-backed ingredients they’ve created products that work beautifully.

The Clean Beauty Box: Beauty Sleep

Beauty Sleep Face Mist

More than just a face mist, this can also be sprayed on pillows to help promote sleep. It has a lovely herbal, slightly floral scent. You can even pick up notes of lavender. The ingredient list is full of some of the best of the best- quartz powder, aloe leaf extract, silver citrate, snow algae. They work together to prep your skin for your moisturizer, promote sleep, and boost cellular repair & collagen production. That’s a big job for a face mist! I’ve found that the scent is perfect to calm my mind at the end of the day.

Sleep Tight Face Balm

The texture of this face balm is heavenly! It’s so lightweight and once it’s applied it magically sinks into my skin, making it feel deeply moisturized, yet it doesn’t even leave a hint of greasiness or oiliness. My skin just feel soft and smooth. It also has a similar soothing scent as the face mist does and works perfectly as a final step in any skincare routine. This one also has many beneficial ingredients, but the star ingredient is propolis extract. I was surprised to learn that this ingredient has been scientifically proven to reduce the depth and volume of crow’s feet by 26%! Crow’s feet aside, this really makes skin feel moisturized and smooth.

This duo works together perfectly! If you want to try them out for yourself, you can subscribe here. The products this month are valued at $108 so as always, it’s a phenomenal deal for what you get. Their box is bi-monthly and always has a beautiful curation. They also feature a different artist for their print for each box and this month’s featured artist is Jess Bruggink.
