With fall in full swing and our schedules as busy as ever, it seems crazy to try to squeeze in just one more thing, doesn’t it? I don’t know if it’s just me, but October through December are always our busiest months out of the year and it feels like we’re going 100 miles an hour. This year I decided I’m going to take a time out from all the madness and do something just for me. November 3-4, I’ll be at the W.E.L.L. Summit in NYC, taking in all that it has to offer and giving myself a chance to recharge and reconnect. I’ve spent most of the year thinking it would be impossible for me to try to go. Between having mom guilt about leaving the kids with so much going on in the fall and having the feeling that adding one more thing to my plate would be too much, I’d written it off without even checking if it would fit into our schedule. Well, a big thanks to my friend Suzi who encouraged me to try to go, because when I did actually sit down with my hubby to look at our schedules, it turned out to be a perfect weekend for me to slip away!

What is the W.E.L.L. Summit?

W.E.L.L. stands for Wellness, Empowerment, Learning and Luxury, and those words sum up what the event is all about.  It’s a gathering of wellness leaders and those seeking wellness and self-improvement in all areas of their lives. You get to spend 2 days hearing from leading wellness experts, listen to panel discussions on thought provoking topics and even break into small groups to really get a chance to learn and discuss things. They cover everything from in-depth skincare health, to the power of probiotics, to calming anxiety and more. They even have speakers to help you get the most out of your career and really go after what you want. You can see a list of their workshops and panels here. What I keep hearing from those who have gone in previous years, is that it’s such a great chance to fill your own cup and also really connect with others in the wellness community and take time.

I have a running list of speakers and panels that I don’t want to miss! More than that, I’m so excited to have a chance to talk to some of the wellness leaders I’ve followed for a while now. Not to mention, all the great wellness brands we’ll have a chance to connect with! November is coming up quick, but it’s not too late to grab a ticket and go (hey, I just did it!). You can get a ticket for just Friday or for the whole 2 day event here. Who else is going to W.E.L.L. Summit? Can’t wait to see you there!
