The theme for Beauty Heroe’s November box is “We are all beauty heroes”. I love this sentiment and I think that it really rings so true. The hero this month is Josh Rosebrook and he really is a beauty hero since he was able to make a very special launch happen a few weeks earlier than anticipated, just so Beauty Heroes members could be the first to experience his new product. The Hero
The hero this month is the Josh Rosebrook Cacao Antioxidant Face Mask. This happens to be one of Josh Rosebrook’s first products that he developed and it’s become a fast favorite of mine. Josh is known for having some of the purest ingredient standards around and he thoroughly researches everything he puts into his formulations to make sure all of his products are both pure and effective. This mask was born out of a desire to create something to treat his own skin and after studying ingredients he came up with a successful formulation. It didn’t take long before clients started asking him what he was using and wanted to have it for themselves. And so a hero was born.
The mask itself is rich and chocolatey smelling, while being gentle on your skin. The Cacao Antioxidant Face Mask is good for all skin types, and gets to work fast firming, calming and detoxifying skin. The ingredient list is packed with nourishing ingredients and has absolutely no fillers or anything unnecessary. The mask is easy to apply and I find it tingles a bit at first, but then you can barely tell it’s there while it works it’s magic for the next 45 minutes or so. After I rinse it off my skin immediately feels smoother and softer. I’m a big proponent of masking before showering for an easier rinse off and the same is true for this mask if you can make that work.
The Sidekicks
This month’s box has not one, but two sidekicks. The first is Josh Rosebrook’s Hydrating Accelerator. This is a great multitasking face mist that not only gives your skin a moisture boost, but it also acts as a toner and has anti-inflammatory properties. Beauty Heroes calls it vitamin water for the skin since it’s packed with nourishing ingredients that your skin just drinks up. It really is more than your average face mist! I love using this between cleansing and moisturizing to help my moisturizer sink even deeper into my skin.
Ok.. Here’s the very special addition to the box which will make it well worth the wait! Current (and new) Beauty Heroes members will be the very first to try Josh Rosebrook’s brand new fragrance: Ethereal. Truth be told, I haven’t even tried it yet! It was such a mad dash to include Ethereal this month, that the ambassadors received the box without it initially, but I am going to post on Insta as soon I get it to give you my first impression. Knowing Josh’s products, I can only imagine how amazing it will smell and how pure the ingredients will be as well. What I know so far is that it’s a gender neutral scent that’s inspired by the scent of the Hydrating Accelerator. So far, that sounds great!
