Thoughtfully made holistic skincare with a devoted fan base? Count me in! I’ve written about Tammy Fender Holistic Skin Care and shared a couple of favorites from them before, and today I’ve got some more of their chic, effective products I wanted to share with you. I try a lot of products, but like most people, I have my go-to products (masks especially) that you couldn’t pry out of my hands even if you tried. The Tammy Fender Epi-Peel happens to be one of those go-to products, so of course, when I was offered to try a few more products from their line I had to see how they stacked up!

If you’re not familiar with the brand, Tammy Fender Holistic Skin Care was created by Tammy Fender, of course, who was practicing as an aesthetician and also living a holistic lifestyle. She decided to merge the two areas of her life and create a holistic skin care line that would actually heal her client’s skin. As I mentioned in my last post about this line, all the ingredients are food-grade and organic which is awesome, but what I love most is how thoughtfully the formulas are put together to truly restore your skin holistically. I’ve found it as a whole to be a very gentle and healing line. While I try to review a wide range of product lines to find something for everyone, this is a luxury product line for sure and that’s reflected in the high-quality ingredients they use and in the price.

Tammy Fender Mask

Purifying Luculent Masque

Let’s start with the star of the show, since this mask really stood out from all of the new products I tried. It’s formulated with highly absorbent minerals to detox your skin and it also has ingredients to help turn over dead skin cells on the surface. Unlike most detox masks that have clays and/or activated charcoal and need to almost dry out to detox your skin, this mask stays moist. It sets into a thick creamy paste on your skin that’s easy to wipe off with a wash cloth. As far as results go, my skin feels much softer and brighter each time I use it and I enjoy the slight cooling effect it has on my skin. It’s packed with beneficial ingredients and it’s great for all skin types- even my finicky skin. This mask is a SPLURGE at a whopping $215. Being honest, I don’t normally spend this much on an individual product and as a blogger, I always approach the product from a ‘Would I buy this?’ point of view. So although I’ve immensely enjoyed this mask and think it works great, this would fall more along the lines of something I’d ask for as a gift rather than purchase for myself. However, if this falls in line with your skincare budget, I highly recommend.

Bulgarian Rose Water

Bulgarian Rose Water

Just the name had me at hello, but of course actually trying it helped to win me over too. It has a blend of rose water and rose flower oil, and it has a light, but beautiful, scent. A couple of pumps of this on a cotton pad refreshes my skin and the ingredients help hydrate skin and increase cell turn over. I use this after cleansing my skin and it’s a great way to prep skin for serums and other treatments. It retails for $65.

Tammy Fender

Restorative Radiance Masque

Along with the products above, I was able to try some smaller sizes of a couple of other products including the Restorative Radiance Masque. First, the mask is a gorgeous pink color and applies well. As the directions state, I put on a pretty thick layer and leave it on for around 15 minutes and afterward my skin feels hydrated and smooth. A blend of clays, natural AHA’s and decadent ingredients like Jasmine water, all come together to help nourish and restore skin. Just like the Purifying Luculent Masque above, this works very well and I enjoy the way my skin feels after using it. The price of this one is a little higher at $235, so if it’s your budget I do think this is a great mask that delivers wonderful feeling skin. Like the other products, it’s very gentle and effective.

Quintessential Serum

This turned out to be more than a simple serum. It’s actually an oil and one of the thickest I’ve tried! Aside from being scared it would just sit on top of my skin, I also had concerns about it turning me into a grease ball. I’m happy to report that it did actually sink right into my skin and was so moisturizing, I didn’t need any additional moisturizers on top. That says a lot since normally I need to layer extra moisture over serums. It full of ingredients known to heal skin and promote anti-aging. I was only trying a sample size of this so I can’t speak to its long-term results, but short term I’ll say it was very moisturizing and it sinks into my skin very deeply. The full size is $175.

Epi-Peel

I have to admit that although I really liked the products above, Epi-Peel is still my absolute favorite from their line and $80 is something I would definitely repurchase. The entire line is available directly from Tammy Fender’s site and also available from The Detox Market and Follain.
