It’s true that a lot of people who switch to more natural products are usually spurred by a pregnancy or by trying to get pregnant. I am one of those women. While pregnant with my son a little over 5 years ago, I first read the book, The Complete Organic Pregnancy, and it was a game changer. Up until then I had no idea that our personal care products could be so harmful to us and to our babies and children. The truth is, even in the womb, our babies are exposed to everything we’re breathing in, putting on our bodies and everything else in our environment. This eye opening study showed a staggering amount of toxins showed up in the umbilical cord blood of the newborn babies they tested. That’s why it’s so important to switch to safer products long before the baby even gets here, but even after they’re born they are exposed to your products through nursing, kisses, snuggles and basically all the other ways we just can’t stop touching our precious newborn little squish.

So what’s a mom to do? Well, Seni Naturals decided to make line for moms that was safe enough for babies too. That way you can snuggle to your heart’s content without worrying about what you may be exposing your baby to! I was able to try several of their products and they hit all the right notes by being really effective and easy to use, as well as completely safe.

Seni Natural Belly Butter

Beautiful Belly Butter

This stuff is packed with so much goodness. I’m obviously not pregnant, so I’ve just been using it as a body butter and even as that, it’s awesome. It’s super hydrating without being greasy. The ingredients they’ve chosen are all so beneficial for your skin and help to prevent stretch marks from your ever growing bump. A hearty blend of butters, including shea, cocoa, avocado, mango and kokum butter nourish you skin. They also include a ton of oils, along with extracts, vitamin E, and rose hips. This belly butter has a nice texture. It has a very whipped, light feel and the scent is nice and light. You can slightly pick up on the lavender and lemon, but it’s not too overwhelming. $19

Seni Naturals Pucker Scrub

Pucker Scrubs

Nothing like kissing your baby with some baby soft lips of your own! I tried both the Sweet Mint and Lemon Citrus Pucker Scrubs and both flavors are so nice. The Sweet Mint totally gave me a flash back to my Nana’s Double Mint gum she always kept in her purse. The Lemon Citrus is so refreshing and delicious. These are both sugar scrubs that quickly exfoliate your lips and make them super soft. $15

Seni Naturals Lip Shine

Kissy Lip Shine Soft Rose

This softly tinted lip balm adds a glossy shine and a dose of moisture to your lips. It also has a pleasant grapefruit scent and adds a slight tingle to your lips. This is a great product to apply right after the Pucker Scrub to gently moisturize your lips. I love the subtle shine it gives. $15

Seni Naturals Lip Balm

Kissy Lip Balm

Again, this comes in Sweet Mint (which I love) and it also comes in Citrus and Rose, which I never would have thought to put together, but it truly is divine! These pocket sized lip balms give a light layer of moisture and a little bit of shine. Perfect to swipe on midday or whenever you need a little moisture boost. $5

I love the concept of this whole line and I really like the products themselves. In fact, I’ve enjoyed them so much that I’ve teamed up with Seni Naturals to giveaway their Pucker Scrub in Sweet Mint, Kissy Lip Balm in Sweet Mint and a jar of Beautiful Belly Butter. Head over to my Instagram for all the details. xo (those are baby kisses and hugs, of course)
