Green beauty may boast some of the highest quality, most potent natural ingredients available, but one look at prices can have you wondering if you can afford to put gas in your car after you purchase that new face cream. While some of the products are exquisite and 100% worth the splurge, sometimes scoring a great product at a great price can be extremely satisfying. The good news is that alongside these splurge-worthy products, there are some equally amazing products with a much lighter price tag. Whether you’re in the mood to treat yo’ self or you want to add in some budget-friendly items, you decide: Save vs. splurge?

Save vs. Splurge

Anti-inflammatory Serum

Laurel_Facial-Serum-Anti-Inflammatory

Laurel Whole Plant Organics Anti-Inflammatory Serum is great for calming and healing skin, as well as moisturizing and reducing redness. This brand goes above and beyond when it comes to sourcing ingredients. I’ve had great luck with this serum and can vouch for it being well worth its price. $88

Live Botanical Calming Serum

Live Botanical has become a fast favorite of mine and though I haven’t tried their Calming Serum, one look at the ingredients tells me that it’s up for the job. Live Botanical’s quality is unmatched for the price and at less than half the price of the option above, I’d say it’s quite a steal! $42 (Use code MAISONPUR for 15% off)

Cream Blush in Dusty Rose

KW Blossoming

Kjaer Weis is the Rolls-Royce of the green beauty makeup scene. I’ll admit that nothing feels chicer than sliding that compact open to touch up your makeup. Their cream blush has been a long time favorite of mine and I love the finish it gives my skin. The color Blossoming is so pretty and universally flattering. It has a hefty price tag, but many devoted fans swear by it! $56 ($32 for the refill)

w3llpeople_universalist_dustyrose_900x900

Nothing beats the convenience and price of W3ll People! They’re widely available (even carried at some Target stores) and have very reasonable prices. I love to use their twist up Nudist Multi-Use Cream Sticks as a blush. They don’t offer as wide of a range of shades as Kjaer Weis does, but their Nude Rose is very flattering and long-lasting. $23.99

Rose Clay Facial Soap

osmis_rose_clay_soap_2017_large

Osmia Organics is known for the beautiful soaps they make. Each one seriously looks like a piece of art! Their Rose Clay Facial Soap is no exception. This soap is great for sensitive, dry or mature skin. They use top-notch ingredients and founder Dr. Sarah Villafranco specially formulates each product to treat and heal your skin. $24

meow-meow-tweet-pink-clay_large

Meow Meow Tweet stands out from the crowd with their quirky hand-drawn illustrations and unique scents. Their universal appeal and wallet friendly prices have won them a lot of fans! Their Pink Rose Clay Facial Soap is also great for sensitive skin. $12

Calming Blue Serum Concentrate

Blue Cocoon

May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon is one of the most coveted products in the natural skincare world. Seriously, this has such a devoted following that I’ve seen people save up for a year just to repurchase it. It’s calming, smells delicious and transforms into silk when applied to the skin. $180

LIVE Botanical Whipped Serum

Live Botanical Aer Balancing Whipped Oil may not be exactly like Blue Cocoon, but it’s a beautiful product in its own right. It also shares one of the same key ingredients: Blue Tansy. It’s packed with nourishing ingredients and calms breakouts while moisturizing dry or combo skin. Plus you can’t beat the price for the quality of ingredients that they use. $32 (Use code MAISONPUR for 15% off)

Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

Ilia eyeshadow

Ilia is known for their beautiful makeup and range of colors that they offer. Their Prima Essential Shadow Palette includes 4 very wearable colors all in one handy compact. $44

Fairy-Tale

Gabriel Cosmetics has continued to impress me as an affordable and very user-friendly brand. The Fairytale Palette by Gabriel also happens to feature 4 neutral colors that would make a great addition to anyone’s makeup kit. And for all 4 shadows, the price is a steal! $27.50

Though all of the splurge products are tempting, it’s nice to mix in some more reasonable priced items too. Balance, am I right? So what will you splurge on and what will you save on?
