It’s laundry day here almost everyday. With small kids, it seems like there’s always something that needs to be washed (and probably stain treated!). Lately I’ve been using the Honest Company’s 4 in 1 Pods and I have to say this product has been a home run for us! In fact, I just received my second pack in my essentials bundle.
This is my first time using a pod. Usually we use liquid and then throw in some OxyClean. The 4 in 1 pod has an oxy boost added in along with a brightener and softener. I’ve found it to be much easier to just throw a pod in as opposed to measuring out the items individually. Call me lazy- or just plain busy, but anytime I can cut out a step or two is a win in my book!
The pods dissolve very quickly and do suds up a bit but not as much as conventional detergent. So far, they’ve gotten everything clean that I’ve put in. Including kid’s clothes that were covered in dirt, finger paint and chocolate milk! (Complete pigs I tell ya)
At $15.95 per pack, this is a bit pricier than most laundry detergents, natural included, but since I’m getting them as part of my bundle I end up getting them for about $7.00/$8.00. There’s 50 per pack and so far one pack lasted us (family of 4) about 6 weeks.
This product is not currently listed on EWG but the ingredients I searched for came up as safe.
WHERE TO BUY: Honest.com or Amazon. Currently, I don’t know of any stores that carry this, but Target did just pick up their diapers and wipes so keep your eyes open in the future!
