Glowing Beets managed to surprise me again this month with two brands that are new to me and THREE full size products, along with a pretty little accessory. One of the reasons I enjoy this box is that I love coming across brands I haven’t found before and usually the ones Glowing Beets features are pretty great! I also really like the mix of different types of products and many times they include accessories or non-beauty items as well. It’s a great box for anyone just starting out in natural beauty or for anyone who wants to try a variety of products. So what was in the April Glowing Beets box? Let’s take a look!
Root + Willow Lava Scrub in Lemon Geranium
More than just a sugar scrub, this has pumice as well and a variety of oils, so it leaves your skin incredibly smooth and soft. I really love the nice bright scent and the fact that most of the ingredients are organic and/or sustainable, as well as fair trade. It’s also hand crafted in small batches in Columbus, Ohio. This is the first I’ve tried from Root + Willow, but it made a great impression on me!
Marin Bee Lip Repair
All natural oils and extracts, along with beeswax combine to really hydrate your lips. I found this has lasting moisture and I love the angled tip and how easily it squeezes out. It’s been great to stash in my bag or keep on my nightstand. Also good to know: Marin Bee is cruelty free and sales of their products support Planet Bee Foundation.
Marin Bee Detox Masque: Calming Skin Repair
The star ingredients are clay, oatmeal and pumpkin, but this mask also includes plenty of other skin healthy ingredients too. It’s a relatively quick mask as it dries in about 10 minutes and then easily rinses off. This mask is probably good for all skin types, but I think oily skin especially would appreciate how it draws out impurities and oil. It leaves my skin feeling clean and glowing.
Fred and Far Pin
This box featured another pin from Fred and Far, who have started a self love movement and the pins serve as little reminders. This particular pin is really cute. It looks like a diamond with rose gold borders and white enamel inside. Very cute to put on a bag or jacket!
