December is a great month to subscribe to beauty boxes, because they all seem to really bring it this month. Mapleblume’s December box is no exception as it has SIX full sized products, including everything from makeup to a lovely bath oil. This whole box is a luxe one for sure, so it would make a perfect gift for someone (or for yourself!). Let’s take a peek at what was in the December Mapleblume box!

Olverum Bath Oil

A pleasant, uni-sex scent lingers with this bath oil. It’s rare to find a rich scent made entirely from essential oils. This was a new brand to me, but I really enjoy the scent and find it very relaxing and soothing. You can pour a bit of this directly into your bath or use a little in a foot or hand soak.

Province Apothecary Radiant Body Oil

After a nice bath, there’s nothing better than a rich body oil to seal in all of the moisture. The oil sinks in nicely, leaving soft skin and just a trace of a faint earthy, botanical scent behind. It’s long lasting which is particularly nice, this time of year.

Luxe Botanicals Marula Hydrating Serum

I developed a love for all things marula while living in South Africa, so I was thrilled to see this in the box. It’s more of an oil than a serum, but it’s rich and really gives your skin some long-lasting moisture which is much needed this time of year!

Au Naturale Cosmetics Super Fine Powder Eye Shadow

I’m a big fan of Au Naturale and have talked about them many times before. One of the biggest draws to this line (beyond the squeaky clean ingredients) is their unique take on packaging and how to apply makeup. This eye shadow is a perfect example with it’s roller ball applicator. You can simply roll it on to the back of your hand and then use a brush to apply to your eyelid, or for more intense pigmentation, roll directly on and then blend out with a good blending brush.

Tenoverten Nail Polish

This brand seems to be everywhere lately! The 8-free formula is long lasting and the color they included (Orchard) is gorgeous and perfect for the holidays.

Tenoverten The Rose Oil

While you’re in the mood for a mani, why not take care of your cuticles too? The Rose Oil has a small roller ball applicator that precisely glides on and nourishes your cuticles, promoting healthy nail growth and let’s be honest, it makes your nails look put together.

\December Mapleblume box

All in all, this was a great, very well-rounded box. You can sign up to receive this one here. Mapleblume is a bi-monthly beauty box, which gives you time to use your goodies before the next box comes. While this is one of the pricier boxes out there, you get a lot of products in this box and every box I’ve gotten from them has been worth way more than the price of the box. Be sure to head over to Instagram a little later today, where I’ve teamed up with Mapleblume to spread a little holiday cheer!
