Odacité Boxwalla

I think it’s safe to say by now, that I’m becoming obsessed with Odacité. Their serum concentrates are so effective and have done so much for my skin. This box features a full sized bottle of the Odacité Ac+R Serum Concentrate, which is designed to give your skin a youthful glow. The great thing about Odacité is that all of their serums can be mixed and matched and blend right into your normal skincare routine. You simply mix 2-3 drops into your moisturizer and apply as normal. It won’t take long to see brighter, glowing skin! The secret behind this particular serum is high grade Acai oil, which is produced from Acai berries from the Amazonian forests in Brazil. They also combine that with Rose oil from Bulgaria and together they work together to slow aging and help with firms, tone, texture and more. I can’t say enough good things about this serum. Even from just a couple of weeks of testing, my skin is more hydrated and looks firmer. I can’t wait to see what long term use does for my skin. (Retail price: $55)

Odacité Eye Serum

Also from Odacité, this box included a sample of their Ba+S Eye Contour Serum Concentrate. This serum uses Baobab oil from Senegal to reduce wrinkles around your eye area. You can either apply a couple of drops directly to your lower eye area by patting it in or your can mix a couple of drops into your eye cream. I haven’t had a chance to try this yet as I’ve been trying other eye products, but I’ve had such great luck with Odacité so far that I’m sure this will be just as wonderful.

Biodara

Biodara is a line that I’ve tried only a few things from, so I was happy to see their Crème De Clay Purifying Mask in the beauty box. The mask has a gentle, fresh scent and is premixed so it’s easy to apply to skin (some clay masks aren’t premixed). The star ingredient is Jukyeom, which is roasted bamboo sea salt and it’s been used for years in Korea. Combines with bentonite clay and sea kelp extract, this mask helps to purify your skin. It works fast too! Just 15 minutes and the mask has done it’s magic. (1/2 oz. size- retails for $15)

MOSS Healing Dew

Last, but certainly not least, they included another full sized, luxury product. MOSS is another line I haven’t tried many products from, but they do have a quite a following so they’ve been on my radar for awhile! The MOSS Healing Dew is a great intro to the brand if you haven’t tried them. It’s an oil-free gel and does so much to help retain moisture in our skin and strengthen it’s lipid barrier. This product combines anti-inflammatory and hydrating ingredients to work it’s magic, including Cogon Grass extract from West Africa. The Healing Dew smells so good too. It has almost a floral, herbal type scent that is light and clean smelling. My skin loves this stuff! (Retail price: $68)

What’s really cool is that all the products in the August box can be used together. Boxwalla recommends cleansing and then masking with Biodara’s Crème De Clay mask, and then you can either mix Odacité’s serum into the Healing Dew or layer them with the Healing Dew on top. Perfect skin ritual, with ingredients from around the world! I have to say, this may be my favorite Boxwalla Beauty Box to date. I just really love all the products this time around and it’s a really great value. The box is $49.95 (it’s bi-monthly) and the total cost for the products in the August box was over $138. Another cool thing about Boxwalla is that they offer 4 different boxes and you can switch between which one you get. They offer the Beauty Box, Film Box, Book Box and Food Box. The August box is closed now, but to sign up for October’s box, you can do so here. The theme for the October box is Ancient Secrets From The East and it will be worth over $150 retail. I’ve also heard they are going to include a new launch from Siam Seas, which is a new brand for me. Happy travels (even if it’s just in a beauty box)! xoxo
