Ahh the wandering woman. She is well traveled and knows just where to find the best, multi-tasking, must-have products. Luckily for us, this month Boxwalla is bringing us all those must-have products from around the world, right to your door step.

You probably already know I’m a fan of Boxwalla and their concept. They offer four different boxes bi-monthly: Beauty, Book, Film and Food. Each box follows a theme, which makes it even more fun to discover the products inside. I previously tried their Food Box and their last Beauty Box and reviewed them here. June’s Beauty Box takes us on a journey to discover rich potent ingredients from around the world, that have all been incorporated into these beautiful products. The product themselves have all made themselves quite at home amongst my beauty stash. All of the brands this month were ones that I recognized and actually had each of them on my ever-growing “need to try” list, but hadn’t had the opportunity to try them until now. Let’s take a quick trip around the world and discover what was inside!

Gressa Boxwalla

Gressa Lumière in Elise

I’ve had Gressa on my list to try for what seems like forever. I did manage to swatch some foundation from them at A Night For Green Beauty last year, but the lighting was off in there so I passed on buying anything. I was so happy this brand was included in the Beauty box and I was even happier when I tried it. It’s a pink fluid makeup that can be used pretty much anywhere (cheeks, eyes, lips) and it is the prettiest mid-toned pink color. It’s very pigmented and a little goes a long way. Lumière was created to be multi-tasking by actually functioning as skincare, as well as makeup. Ingredients like CoQ10 help to protect skin’s lipid barrier and it also contains the powerhouse ingredient broccoli seed oil. Broccoli actually originated in Italy and was only brought here in the early 20th century- which is crazy because I feel like it’s a staple of most American households! This product does double-duty of looking good on you and doing good for your skin while you wear it.

Henne Organics Boxwalla

Henne Organics Rose Diamonds Lip Exfoliator

The prettiest little pink lip scrub I ever did see, housed in a chic glass pot. It also happens to smell very pretty with a delicate rose scent. It’s gorgeous pink color comes from the Aronia berry which is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants. While the Aronia berry is used in Europe, it actually originated in America where the Native Americans used it first.  Then it made it’s way to Europe and now, into this decadent lip scrub. Henne Organics was inspired by the minimalist aesthetic that Sweden is know for and it’s translated well into their products and packaging. I very much appreciate when a brand looks polished and classy without a lot of fuss, which Henne Organics accomplishes nicely.

Rachel's Plan Bee Boxwalla

Rachel’s Plan Bee Body Polish

With warmer weather comes lighter clothing and baring a bit more skin, so a good body scrub is in order. This one happens to do a great job making your skin glow and it smells divine. It’s rich and citrusy and slightly sweet all at the same time. I can’t get enough of the scent! The sugar scrub contains rich oils and butters, along with clays- including Moroccan Lava Clay, which is mined from below the Atlas Mountains and is packed with minerals. The Body Polish rinses off clean, leaving you with smooth, glowing skin, without stripping away any moisture. And did I mention that I’m addicted to the scent? I love the artwork on their packaging as well!

Rachel's Plan Bee cream

Rachel’s Plan Bee Original Bee Cream

Also in the box from Rachel’s Plan Bee is a sample size of their original Bee Cream. A nice whipped consistency helps to quickly add moisture and it has the same great smell as the body scrub. It’s just the right size to throw in my bag for when I’m on the go and it’s perfect for moisturizing any dry spots that pop up!

June Boxwalla

Wasn’t this month’s box such a fun selection of products? You can sign up for the August box here and you can see what’s in the other themed boxes they put together. They also have a few June boxes listed for a one time purchase here. I’ve also teamed up with Boxwalla for an extra fun giveaway happening over on my Instagram page, so be sure to check it out! xo
