April is here and so is the latest Beauty Heroes! This month features a brand that’s been steadily on the rise in the green beauty community and subscribers get to be the first to try a newly launched product from them. So just who is this month’s hero brand? It’s LILFOX, an all natural skincare and body care line out of Miami. I’ve only tried a couple of things from them, so I was excited to dive into this chic brand more this month and really see what they’re all about. Plus, you all know I love a good mask, so of course I was pretty pumped to see just what products were included.
LILFOX was founded by Alexis Rose, also known as Madame Fox, who launched the brand after completing studies in aromatherapy and organic cosmetic formulation. Her background is perfect for creating products that not only treat your skin, but they also give you an earthy, aromatic experience while you use them. She takes care to formulate her products with only high quality ingredients and many of the ingredients are organic and/or wildcrafted. All of the products are made in small batches to preserve their quality. I also have to note that I really like their packaging. The jars and bottles are all very chic and come boxed in beautiful floral patterned boxes.
Onto the hero! LILFOX Jungle Glow is a cleanser and mask in one. It looks like a whipped, chocolatey dessert and the scent is earthy, yet addictive. It’s a hard scent to describe, but the more I smell it, the more I really love it. Jungle glow seems to have a smooth, creamy consistency at first, but once you massage it on, you can feel the tiny granules exfoliating your skin. For a more in-depth treatment, you can leave it on as a mask for 5-30 minutes or you can simply rinse it off after cleansing. Raw rainforest honey, maracuja oil, raw cacao and more help to clear your skin, add hydration, exfoliate, nourish and have anti-aging properties. Compared to your average cleanser, this is a powerhouse! Some footnotes: This is very easy to rinse off and my skin feels incredibly soft after use.
Every good hero needs a sidekick and this month’s Beauty Heroes box included LILFOX’s brand new Cleopatra Restorative Milk + Honey Beauty Mask.
