As we switch over all of our conventional products for pure, non-toxic ones, I’ve been continually finding that I love that natural versions even better than the regular ones. Although, one product I’ve been hesitant to switch is my face moisturizer. It took me so long to find one that my sensitive, combination skin didn’t completely reject!

Forever I’ve been using Origins- which is free of some of the no no chemicals (like parabens) but still has a few I would rather do without. Now that I’m almost out, I know it’s time to make the switch to a natural face moisturizer. Here are some of my top contenders:

  beautycounter-every_day-hydrating_cream-495x650

First up is Every Day AM Hydrating Cream by BeautyCounter. It’s completely free of harsh chemicals and preservatives that are usually found in Face lotion and it’s unscented. I’ve been seeing this brand come up so often lately and I’ve been wanting to try something from their line. It does have coconut oil in it though, which I know so many people swear by, but I’m still a bit skeptical about using it on my face. The site lists it’s EWG rating as 2.

Dr.Hauschka Gesichtswaschcreme USA

Dr. Hauschka Melissa Day Cream is a strong contender as it’s formulated specifically for combo skin, like mine. This brand gets raved about by natural beauty circles and mainstream beauty sites, alike. It’s another brand that I’ve never tried but have wanted to. It also has coconut oil in it.

Acure Organics Oil Control Facial Moisturizer is definitely the budget pick on the list. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t as good as the others. Acure Organics is an awesome brand and I’ve tried many of their products. All have been great so far and I love that I can often find them in Whole Foods or other natural grocery stores. I’ve seen some great reviews for their natural face moisturizers too.

Where to buy: AcureOrganics.com or natural grocery stores

Cost: $18.99

50ml_rebuildingmoisturizer

Well if the last lotion was the budget pick, then this is definitely the luxe pick! Tata Harper Rebuilding Moisturizer is designed for oily or combo skin and only uses the purest of ingredients. In fact, they grow a lot of their own ingredients on their farm in Vermont. This one may be out of my budget.. (although I do have a birthday coming up!)

Where to buy: Sephora.com

Cost: $100

I will make a choice soon and post my review!
